Just updated one of our machines to Win10 / ACAD LT 2017.
Previously was running Win7 / ACAD LT 2014 just fine.
Now, when in a drawing and trying to hatch the hatch dialog box refuses to come on.
Yes, we've changed HPDLGMODE from 0 to 1 to 2 all with no avail.
We've tried using the Ribbon and it just greys out on 0.
When set to 1 or 2 and we go into the ribbon and click options then the arrow in the lower right corner of the options tab in the ribbon which should bring up the Hatch Edit dialog box again, nothing happens.
CMDDIA and FILEDIA are both set to 1.
This happens in a brand new drawing as well as any other drawing we open.
All other dialog boxes appear to open just fine.
We've restarted ACAD several times and no change.
I should add that when we try to bring up the hatch edit dialog box that ACAD seems to think that it is showing the dialog box when it's not. The other buttons grey out, the minimize/maximize buttons don't work, can't drag the ACAD window around the screen, etc. SO it thinks there is an active dialog box but it's not visible and can't be used. We can hit ESC and it kicks off the invisible dialog box and back to normal ACAD.
Thoughts?

Hi jon,
You say " that ACAD seems to think that it is showing the dialog box"
Is it possible that the dialog is off-screen?
Start the HatchEdit command, Alt-Space, Restore, move, minimize option shows up. Select move and then use your arrow keys.

That was it. Didn't think the Hatch Edit command would allow you to do that with the Alt+Space trick. It was indeed there, just way out past left field somewhere in the back forty parking lot!

Excellent - I am glad to hear that worked for you!
