Can someone please help! Every time I export an autocad drawing into adobe, pdf form, it opens a preview of the drawing in adobe.  This takes a lot of time when all I want to do is simply resave the pdf in another folder-not view it. Does anyone know how to turn off auto preview of the adobe drawing?

Welcome to the Forums

Are you using PUBLISH or the DWGtoPDF.PC3 file?

If PUBLISH there is an option which says OPEN IN VIEWER WHEN DONE. Make sure that is not ticked.

If the DWGtoPDF.PC3 file do the following

At the command line type PLOTTERMANAGER

Open the DWG to PDF.PC3 file

Choose the DEVICE AND DOCUMENT SETTINGS tab click on CUSTOM PROPERTIES.

In ACCESS CUSTOM DIALOG click on CUSTOM PROPERTIES...

At the bottom of the dialog box in ADDITIONAL OUTPUT SETTINGS make sure that OPEN IN PDF VIEWER is not ticked.

Now click on OK to close the boxes and save your settings
