Red lines

Why do i have red zig zag lines appearing when I am moving mouse

I have only recently purchased auto cad
For some reason I am getting lines all over my drawing they are not lines what I can delete please advise how I can get rid of these lines

It may be your video card is choking under the burden of AutoCAD/LT: turn off LINESMOOTHING and LINEFADING variables and see if that helps. If not, start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and turn off everything else on that pop-up.

Look up these commands in HELP.
