- This issue is happening will all files. I have returned to a previous file that had no issue but, now I can't add text without a shutdown.
- I am unaware of any customization; I'm a simple operator just learning.
- My system uThe pdates occur automatically so, I'm not sure what's been updated.
- All my files are saved on this laptop.
- How do I run Autocad LT in a selective startup in Windows 8?
If I have built a drawing in 16, will an earlier Cad version open a 16 file?
Okay,
First off thanks for getting back to me.
Let's have you pull the following information for me.
- I'll need a copy of a drawing file so that I can test it on my end.
- NFO file (AKN: How to guide)
You can open a 16 drawing in an older AutoCAD LT it just depends on what version it is. You can save files down in AutoCAD LT 2016.
- Execute SAVEAS and in the save dialog window, pick an older DWG file format from the "Files of type" drop-down menu.
Let's work off of that for now and we can go back to the drawing board after taking a look at a drawing file and the NFO file.
