editing arc properties

I am trying to create an arc, and the only information I have is the radius
and the length (the arc length, not the chord length) and the only way I can
figure for AutoCAD LT 2009 to do it is to create an arc and change the
length in property manager. For some reason this property does not let me
edit it, when I select it the calculator opens up. Any advice?

Use the LENGTHEN command.

Draw an arc with the required radius.

Type LENGTHEN, then t (for total), then enter your length, then click
the arc.
