EDGEMODE NOT WORKING

I've changed the setting from <0> to <1> but still isn't extending out to connect corner lines. Has this feature changed?

Hello,

Which version of Autocad are you using?

Is your EDGEMODE & TRIMMODE set to <1>

The behavior of TRIM and EXTEND was updated in AutoCAD 2021 and newer products, and new system variables were introduced as a result.
On the command line type TRIMEXTENDMODE. Set it to <0> and give it a try.

Cheers,

Vinay Vijayakumaran

Hello, I was searching for info. on this because I cannot get extend command to work for extending lines to inferred or imaginary boundaries .  -I am confused by the solution provided here, and that the solution worked for anonymous.  Please see screen shot of Autodesk answer to my inquiry, which does not work, unless I am missing something.  Thank you!  Steve

@swickert101 What are you trying to extend to? See the image below for a quick and dirty explanation of how edgemode=1 works
