Dline & Object Snap

Hello,

Why doesn't Object Snap work when drawing Double Lines....???

Setting Snap (within Dline) to a maximum of 10 pixels doesn't seem to
anything and/or then when hitting F3 to activate Snap brings up the settings
dialogue (with all choices blank). Then it doesn't draw a double line.

I don't get it or am I missing something important...???

Many thanks,

Ric Norris.

DLINE command turns off Osnaps because the routine does not work well with
them on: a limitation since this is basically the un-modified version of the
original LISP that showed up with release 9 of full AutoCAD over 13 years
ago.

To use Osnaps with DLINE, you have to manually type in each Osnap you need,
when you need it.

Shift + right click and select snap. Relatively easy to use.

I was having the same problem and figured I was doing something wrong.  But I see here that Osnaps really *are* turned off with the Dline command.  I mean really - can it be that hard to fix???

DLINE requires running osnaps to be turned off or it will fail to draw the parallel lines properly: DLINE is not an object type in AutoCAD, it's just two separate LINE objects drawn in parallel that used to be an old LISP back in the day.

LT does not have MLINE object types, which is the real solution.
