If you're talking about the blue dashed line area is one of the items listed in PROPERTIES (Ctrl+1) or Right Click and choose PROPERTIES

Hi @autocad1878,
Have you figured out how to calculate the area in AutoCAD LT? It looks like @h_s_walker has given you some great help.
If you have a closed polyline you can simply select it and it will show the area in the Properties palette. If you have a bunch of lines you can edit them using PEDIT to make them a closed polyline or you can also use BO (Boundary) to drop in a polyline.
If the display of the area is in MM and you want Meters, an easy way to get this to display is with a Field.
I made a quick video of that process for you.
I hope this helps.

Sorry, I'm not always online. Fantastic guys thank you so much for your help.
Both Videos helped me achieve what I needed.
How is it possible to do this in Auto Cad 2014 LT?
I want my area to be viewed in square meter units instead of long millimetre number!
Thank you!
This gave me the wrong result. I had to type in 0.000001 to convert sq mm to sq m?
Also, how do you use it as a permanent solution, instead of typing in every time, you would have an option to display the area in meters?
@MajaMaliszewska No there is no permanent solution.
