Dimension Text Size

I have AutoCAD LT 2017 and in the past, I could always change the size of my Dimension Text by changing the Text Height.  I'm in a drawing now where I change the Text Height in Properties but the size of the dimensions do not change at all.  Is there another setting I need to change to make this work?  Thanks,

Mike

Depends if that is how your DIMSTYLE is set up or not: start DIMSTYLE command up, open your active dimstyle and compare this file's settings with another that worked the way you want.

I'm finding that I am not given the option to adjust the dimension text height at all...In Properties or Dimension Style Manager. Any ideas?

Hi

I guess you set a fix text hight in your textSTYLE, start command STYLE and check

the height of style standard.

Not asked, but my basic rules for you:

It's not good to use predefined styles of any kind.

Use your own definitions with another name!

In this case here, do not use style standard, not for text, not for dimstyles.

Create your own and choose a well name.

Beware of trouble with import/export content from or to other files from extern.

Sebastian

@claired STYLE command settings override all other locations if you all do it old-school style over there.
