Cannot adjust Command Window

The Command Window is a continuous line across the bottom of my display. There is no icon anywhere to access changes so I am unable to change the length of it. Every attempt I have made to find a solution leads me to irrelevant topics. Quite irksome. Anyone know how to find the the control icons?

Hi,

I guess you are talking about a command line that is not docked. If that's the case then, use the command "CLIPROMPTLINES" and set it to "1" to display only one line of inputs above the commandline or set it any other number as per your wish.

If you talking about the docked commandline window and you want to reduce the height of the commandline then, hover over the command line until you see a double-headed arrow and then click and drag to adjust height of the command line history.

I am aware of controlling the amount of lines. Also about the panel height. The issue is that there is that the command window is a continuous line across the bottom of the screen. There are no icons displayed to the left in that line which would allow me to adjust the width. I don’t know how that happened in the first place and I don’t know why I can’t find a solution using “Help” but the fact remains that there is no visible way to alter that window.

Post an actual screenshot of what you see to confirm we are all talking about the same thing.

Yes, same problem: resizing arrows will not appear..
I found that you must restart autocad to get them to appear and then it resizes ok  ... must be a bug.
