Hi,

>>"by right click and hit add to Quick acces toolbar"

Never saw this. Where are you and where do you click?

Screenshots welcome

Seems you have a problem with

1. your write access to your .cuix files

 OR

2. There is a Admin Cadmin or PlugIn, what forces to overwrite your custom data.

Check this out:

Restart Acad, OPTIONS/FILES/Customizazion Files/Main Customizazion File/

Copy this path (up to the last slash / the characters after that NOT)

if standard path, looks like this

C:\Users\<yourid>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20nn - English\Rnn.0\enu\Support

WinExplorer

And paste the path to your WinExplorer,

check out the 'last modified date' of your main cuix file,

61seconds since Acad start gone? good

In Acad:

Add your button again to QAT

In WinExplorer

check out the main cuix file ' last modified date' time.

Is it update to now?

okay.

Close Acad

check out the main cuix file ' last modified date' time.

still a new updated time ?

Double-click a .dwg file in WinExplorer

New QAT button missing again?

@perBF9V7 You probably need to use WSSAVE command to save your workspace(s) where you added to the QAT in that way. If that does not help, your Windows login might be too restrictive or your LT installation is corrupt.

@cadffm It's been around forever, see example below with ARRAY in the Ribbon

Hi Sebastian, If i check the update of cui file, it seems to work properly, i can see the newly update date and time,  if i make a change, but when i close Acad it don't change the file again.

Anyway if i add some other command to the QAT, i works fine, so maybe it could be the Export command, because there a 3 options to export DWFx, DWF, PDF,,

Hi,

thanks for sharing this important informations

1. "Anyway if i add some other command to the QAT, i works fine"

2. WHAT in detail you added

Yes, it's because what kind of item you added (I don't know why it works to add, it should be blocked).

Question: Your title is about PDF, so all what you want is the Export to PFD button, NOT all three / the whole FLYOUT ?

Solution: Add the right button only:

Open QAT menu and select "More Commands..." option

Now in CUI command dialog, filter for EXPORT to PDF (lower left part of dialog / Commands)

now - drag&drop this item to your QAT

close CUI command, close Acad, restart Acad, be happy!
