AutoCAD LT required specs

Hi,

I am building a new desktop PC for AutoCAD LT only for 2D work not 3D and I have read the recommended spec on their website and also read through many posts on here and the answers seem to vary from 2D will run on any PC to you need the absolute best PC ever https://mobdro.bio/ .

I am looking at

i5 12400 (its $50 cheaper than 12600 and from the benchmarks only about 2% slower)
16GB RAM
NVMe SSD

So for 2D work

1. Do I need a discrete gfx card?

2. Is i5 good enough or do I need i7? From what I have read its mainly a single thread application so many cores isn't going to make any difference

I say go with i7 instead of i5 though not required but you’ll notice speed difference not only with LT but with other apps as well
