Autocad LT 25 Bolded Font issues

I have a weird issue affecting some of my 2025 AutoCAD LT users, when they bold fonts it doesn't show as bolded?
if they save the drawing and open it in 2024 LT it shows the bolded font just fine. 

Any thoughts on what the issue could be?
is there perhaps a system variable preventing bolded fonts from showing bold?
or is it perhaps a bug on 2025 LT?

I currently have 5 users using LT 25 
1 - has had no issues with bolded fonts since day 1
1 - had issues initially and then it magically started working again and hasn't been an issue since
3 - have never been able to bold 

attached is an example image on the left is the document opened in LT 24 that shows the fonts are bolded and on the right the same document is opened in LT 25 and the fonts don't show as bolded

You might also try turning off GFXDX12 in LT2025 (restart your program afterwards, this is important) to see if that helps as well.

yes i have already looked at that page however that is not the issue i am having 

that pages is describing how to fix font that APPEARS to be bolded 
my issue is the fonts wont SHOW as bolded when i manually make them bold
