AutoCAD LT 2021 - Migrate from Windows 7 to Windows 10

Hello

I'm moveing AcadLT2021 from old computer (win 7)  to new computer (win10).

Setings export fine but won't import on win 10 machine.

Need to move settings, options, papersizes, line settings ..basicly everything

 

Please advise

I'm moveing AcadLT2021 from old computer (win 7)  to new computer (win10).

Setings export fine but won't import on win 10 machine.

What does "won't import" mean please? Post screenshots of the actual errors messages etc.

nothing happens.

Starting import program, then selecting zip file, then i press ok, then window goes away and...nothing

Thanks for the info.

I would try new exports, then in Win10 reset or reinstall LT2021 and ensure you have the latest updates installed (they don't happen automatically).

But... Win7 is not a supported OS so that may be the issue. There are manual ways to move PCs too, here is the link that explains it https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-m...

Thanks, I'll definitely look into it.

So, it seems that there's no way to "comfortably" transfer settings from win 7 to win 10.

You'd think that someone would have thought of that.

Hello,

No automatic success. Had to do it by hand.

The link pendean provided helpt and shoud be saves for future reference.
