Working with version 2018

I cannot insert PDFs with AutoCAD 2018,. It identifies the PDF but can't insert the object saying it cannot be found. I cannot get Classic view on my screen I do not like the current set up when installed. and cannot change the paper space to a black background as I have with model space.

Where is the PDF located?
What format is the PDF? Open it in your Acrobat Reader and find out.

It's the same procedure as in previous versions of AutoCAD, nothing changed here: command _OPTIONS ==> tab Display ==> button Colors ==>
