Windows Pointing Arrow and Pick Box

I can't figure out how to change the arrow to the pick box, I have already changed in the options menu.

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

I am afraid that I don't understand what you are trying to do.  Can you give me some more detail and perhaps take some screen captures with the Windows Snipping Tool to help me?'

Hi John,

Thanks for your help.  When I change my pickbox size in Options, I still have an Arrow.  Is this maybe something with windows?

Hi @Anonymous,

OK, I think I am understanding a bit more clearly. You see an arrow cursor when you are navigating on your tool palettes, ribbons, etc but when you switch and click in the graphics screen area it does not change to a pickbox. Is this correct?  Is this a new install  or has this been working for a while until just recently?

Do you have a special mouse and software?

You can consider a Reset Settings to Default to correct this but it would be good to get this additional information first.

Yes, this is the case.  I have been having issues with Autocad crashing and I ran a repair today.
