I have several drawings created in 2019 Mechanical that include the weld symbols. We have several users that use 2019 AutoCad English, not mechanical, and the symbols do not show up. In the past versions (2018) this has not been a problem for these users to bring the sections into their drawings, weld symbols visible. I understand the symbols are no longer changeable since they are not in the mechanical version. Any ideas?

Update. If I open the drawing with the Mechanical welds in non-mechanical AutoCAD the weld symbols are present but if I insert the drawing into our standard drawing template the weld symbols are gone. The layer the welds were created on is brought into the standard template but if I purge the drawing the layer the welds was on is no longer in that drawing.
Not sure what is turned off in our standard drawing template.
