'VIEW' command - export/import?

Hi All,

I have just seen a post exactly the same as I was going to post here, which might have answered my question.

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/view-command-export-import/m-p/6258040#M119159

I will investigate.

What does everybody else do that needs to export views from one drawing to another?

Don't investigate too much.

I'm really confident, the place where you plan to download the lisp is very good. And lisp is a right way.

We all wish that one day, the Design Center (CTRL+2) will be modernized, don't we ?

Thanks.

PERFECT!! Works a treat.

I see what you mean about design centre.I haven't used it for ages, but will start using it again.

Wouldn't it be absolutely wonderful if you could copy views from one drawing to another using

design centre.

Has it been put forward as an idea (oops sorry I  forgot, AutoCAD doesn't have an ideas forum like inventor)

Is it on any wish lists (Augi?)

Autodesk Moderators, can I use tramber's post as an accept as solution or not, seeing as the solution already existed in a previous post?

In the name of this old Design Center, don't be shy and accept as a solution so the post is marked as well.

The others will find it practical to know that the post doesn't need too much help any more....

(talkative....)

okay

I agree, marking as "accept as solution" shows no more discussion required.

I will see if I can find somewhere to put the wish forward for incorporating

export views into Design Centre

End of Topc
