Vehicle Tracking

Hello,

Does Vehicle Tracking come as standard with the Infrastructure Design Suite Premium 2017? I noticed it appear during the installation but cannot figure out how to get it started in Autocad. I tried manually loading the atra210_arx but could not do anything from there. No menus or commands are displaying.

Hi @STACEROGERS1301,

Based on the information in the included software for Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking is not included as one of its components. Hope this clears it  up.

It is not included in the current IDS but it will be included in the upcoming AEC Collection (new incarnation of Suites).

To answer your question why Autodesk Vehicle Tracking components are being displayed during installation, new functionality was introduced in Civil 3D 2017 where the roundabout-related features from Autodesk Vehicle Tracking have been integrated into AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017. These commands create a new type of roundabout object which enables the user to bring roundabouts into an AutoCAD Civil 3D drawing from Autodesk® InfraWorks 360.
