VBA support not activated

Not applicable

I download the VBA module to activate VBA support in AutoCAD 2019, and acvba.arx appears loaded in the Application loader screen. However, when I click on VBA Editor or Run VBA Macro, I always get an error message telling me the VBA support module has not been installed.

What did I miss?

Hi Jayhar,

Thanks, but that's the whole problem: I already downloaded and installed that module, and AutoCAD still claims it's not installed, though it shows the application is loaded...

I've seen this behaviour more than once.
Close all AutoCAD, Uninstall VBA and re-install

Make sure you are installing with sufficient rights. (admin/poweruser)

See if that works for you.

Thanks again, but I already tried all that. Uninstalling then reinstalling all AutoCAD, or just the VBA module was even the first thing I tried. I wanted to know if I had missed anything before contacting support, but apparently, it's the only choice I have left... I'll let you know how it went.

@Anonymous Did you install vba by clicking on setup.exe and not the msi. I have seen this when you use the msi to install it.

Autodesk support found that what was wrong with my install was wrong/corrupted temp files. They got me delete all install files and temp files, uninstall the VBA Enabler, then download/reinstall it again, and this time it worked.

Thanks all for your help!
