Using scaled units (2015)

Is there any way to use scaled units, such as you put in the actual length and it scales it down to the drawing size? Using AutoCAD 2015. Thanks.

Welcome to these Forums!

The editor does not know what type of unit of one you are using.
For instance - Light Year as a unit of one or Meter as a unit of one.

Explore the SCALE command, option Reference.
Set the base point and first reference point as the same point.

Command ROTATE behaves in this same manner (so does align, per say).

Unless you are designing something really big or really small

I recommend that you model 1:1 (-dwgscale) and let the software take care of scaling.
