User profile / "Not responding" error message

How do I save my user profile (icon &pallette arrangement etc.) to my machine? Every time I log in to a drawing from our server someone elses profile opens up! Also, after I initiate a a function (draw line etc.) an error message (Not responding) pops up, the wheel spins, my machine locks up for a few seconds then works. Help!

IDK about the first part. What do you mean by "someone elses profile opens up"? Do you mean that the menus, colors, fonts, etc., are the saved profile of someone else in the office? Or are you actually referring to a workspace and not a profile?

For the second issue, use Process Monitor to watch file/registry activity, that should help you find the issue.

If you're try saving or accessing a project file locally does that issue still occur? Could you share a screencast video or screenshot's or a drawing file as an example?
