Use o,o was to start line

  • I am trying to make a line starting at o,0 on wcs and next point at 5.5,0 and the line isn't showing up or it doesn't line up with the wcs like it is supposed to?

upload your file after drawing the line. It'll be much easier to find the issue that way.

Is the line at something other than Z=0?

Are you hitting enter twice after starting the Line command? This will start the line from the last point (LINE; Enter; Enter; 0,0 5.5,0)

Are you zoomed way out? When you run the command Zoom, Extents does it show up?

Are you in a Perspective vs. Parallel view? Type PERSPECTIVE = 0 at the command line to turn perspective off.

Is current the layer off? You can create elements on a layer that is currently off.

Posting your drawing with what is happening will help as @S.Faris said.

Try turning off object snap, move your cursor far away from your start point, then execute the command.

Enter the coordinates with a # symbol in front, Line, #0,0, enter, #5,5.

If your UCS is not the same as the  WCS then write back and let us know.
