Updating the license file

Hello.

We are using a network license for AutoCAD 2016 in our organization, and the problem is that this network license file is binded to the server's hostID (MAC-address). Our company uses virtual servers and their hostID can be changed dynamically.

How can we receive a new license file without binding to the hostID ?

Not a good idea for license servers.

I would recommend to not let the ID change for these systems.

Refer to this : I cannot give you my server name / host ID to generate a network license file. 

NOTE: The MAC address is the most vital piece of information needed to generate the license file. There is no workaround to generate a license file without the MAC address on the server where the license server will reside.
