Unreconciled New Layers Filter

I was quite certain that my layer filter for Unreconciled New Layers stayed kept a list of layers from session to session (open, close, open, close, etc...)

Now the layer filter for Unreconciled New Layers disappears after I close than reopen a drawing despite me not manually reconciling them.

Am I imagining things or could somebody help me change my settings.

@ryanj ,

These layer do not disappear by themselves, others involved with the drawing could have reconciled.

Take a look at these links:

Otherwise use Windows Explorer right-click and then Restore previous version.

Thanks for the links - I checked all those system variables and everything looked good.

After a few more tests I think I figured it out. I am working on a .dwt file to develop a new template and I believe that's where the issue lies. If I create a new layer in the .dwt file it immediately creates the Unreconciled New Layers Filter. But if I close and reopen the .dwt the Unreconciled New Layers Filter is gone.

But if I save the template as a .dwg and do the same thing, the Unreconciled New Layers Filter remains after a close/open. Which is what I want
