Unhandled Exception 1 (Access Violation Reading 0x0000) at address BB3A76FDh

I'm trying to open up dwg file that works on 3 other machines except mine. Purged and saved to earlier versions doesn't help. I get number of errors-all relating to access violation and after all of this fatal error . Any suggestions?

Hi @Anonymous,

More than just Purge, there are other steps that can be taken"

  • Audit
  • Purge
  • -Purge>All
  • -Purge>Regapps
  • -Exporttoautocad
  • Insert into another drawing as a block.

Please attach your file and I can take a look at it for you.

Carlson Survey with  Autocad Mechanical 2015 SP2 on Win7 Pro is on my machine. It works on my coworker machine with the same applications.

I opened the DWG and the file seems fine. I believe it's your PC or AutoCAD.

Please share your PC and AutoCAD specs.

Hi @Anonymous,

I opened your file and ran Audit - It found numerous errors.

I also ran Purge and -Purge>regapps.

Try my version of the file and see if you still have issues.

I want to help you, but I can't find an AutoCAD Mechanical 2015 trial. I only opened it with AutoCAD 2015 and 2017.
