Two revisions of the same border

AutoCAD 2023

Hello,

I have a layout/border (revision 2), but I need to add another layout/border (revision 3). The new layout/border contains an up-revised border from rev2 to rev3. When I try to import revision 3, it always reverts to revision 2.

It imports rev 3 if I delete rev2 but I need to keep the two revisions in the same drawing file. Simply I need the drawing on both revisions of the border for the time being.

How do I import revision 3 while also keeping revision 2?

List the layout/border to see if it’s a Block. Then note the Block name. Enter Rename command, select Block on the left column then on right column look for the Block name on the list and select it. Enter a new name on the edit box on the bottom and click Rename button. Now try bringing in the rev 3 layout/border
