Two DWG files, same block, but text style is different?

I would like to know why the text appears different for this block in each of the drawing files.

The "Good-Text" file contains the text appearance I want.

The "Bad-Text" file contains the text style that the block automatically changes to when I attempt to insert it.  

I have looked at the properties of the text in the block editor for each, but I don't see any differences.  

What is causing this?

New to AutoCAD by chance? You may have missed that STYLE command in each file determines font usage, never the block's content.

be aware that any time you deal with block inserts, the settings in the current drawing govern such as Layer Name, Dimension Style, Block Name & Text Style. So if your current drawing already has a Text Style with name like RomanD using font RomanD.shx already defined and you Insert a Block that's also using the same style RomanD but for some reason set to use Arial.ttf, the current drawing's RomanD Style will continue to be used and not what's in the block insert.
