Trying to create Cross and Long Sections of house plans
I have some 1:50 metric scale floor plans and elevations in two separate models in Autocad. I'm trying to a scaled long section and cross-section from them but I can't work out how. I've read some notes on how to create a cross-section view (Layout Tab > Create View Panel etc.) but to make the changes I assume you have to be in the model view, and I can't see the layout tab as an option in that tab. Any thoughts? I'm a novice with Autocad so finding it a bit daunting.
