I have some dimensions that need to show both architectural units (as the primary units) and metric units. When I have metric set to the primary units and architectural as alternate units, everything works fine, and I get the correct measurements.
However when I flip it so that the architectural units are the primary units, I can not get it to display the correct measurements in both units (I can get one correct, but not the other). Here are some screenshots:
These are correct:
and these are the properties I have set with the above configuration:
When I set architectural units as primary I get this (incorrect):
Here are the properties I used for the above:
The Dim scale linear in each case is -150.0000, which is correct, as that is the viewport scale. With primary metric units, I have Alt scale factor at 0.03937 (1/25.4). With primary architectural units, I have Alt scale factor at 25.4. If I play around with the alt scale factor, I can get the alternate dimensions to be correct, but not the primary ones.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Zia,
Thanks for your reply, but I don't believe your dimensions are displaying correctly either. 10m is ~ 32'-10", not 21'-2" as shown. I did play around with it a bit more, and was able to get it working correctly by adjusting the scale factor of the primary units to 0.3937. (I don't know why this works, it seems to me that they should display correctly with scale factor set to 1)
I ended up getting the correct results with the following settings:
Primary = mm
Alternate = Feet
-------------------------------------------------------
Primary = feet
Alternate = mm
Your dims will look like this.
