Trouble importing multiple acad drawings to a master acad

So I have multiple drawings exported to dwg from vectorworks.

When i try to import them into a master acad drawing, it seems that some objects share a block reference and they take the properties of the objects first imported.

Is it possible to somehow make each block have a unique id before importing, without selecting each one individually?

Open the dwg to be imported, rename the blocks.

each of the dwgs has hundreds of blocks.

as mentioned in the original post, i need a solution that does not require me to select each one individually.

Search, there are solutions to rename existing blocks.

Use * to select all blocks.

Then add any letter or number in front of the blocks.

Which DWG file has the blocks that are more important/accurate/you wish to keep?
That's the one all the others are "inserted" into: yes, you might have to flip your methodology to work with AutoCAD instead of fighting it.

Reminder: AutoCAD rule #1, content already in the file will replace identically named content from an imported file. This rule never changes. Ever.
