Hey everyone,
I’m having trouble deleting a data link to an external Excel file. I can’t see where it is in thr file, and despite my efforts, it remains in the drawing.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
- Deleted all objects, layers, and layouts from the drawing, leaving only layer 0.
- Used EXPLODE, PURGE, and AUDIT.
- Checked the Data Link Manager and it shows the Excel file as "unreferenced."
- Attempted to delete it from the DATALINK window, but it says "You can't delete because the file is in use."
Additionally, when I use QSELECT, it indicates that there are no objects to select. However, whenever I copy anything from this drawing to another file, the Excel reference is still imported to new file.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance for your help.
