Hi,
I suggest to try change mOde while TRIM command is active Mode=Standard .
Imad Habash
Hi, does this mean trim mode = 0 ?
>> When I try to use the trim tool, it extends the line or does not trim to an intersection?
Your issue is related to trim command as you said ... Select object to trim or shift-select to extend . So be sure that you're not pressing Shift while Trimming .
Imad Habash
Ive tried this. I am not holding shift. I select trim, hit enter to trim freely. I have attached a video to show the issue
Thanks for your video ... can we have the same part that you have tested in the video as .dwg file for testing please ?
Imad Habash
Sure. please see attatched file.
Your drawing is way way too far away from 0,0,0 in your file: that's your problem.
Move your content back to near 0,0,0
Just tried this, didnt make a difference for me?

How far away, you may ask? About 34 times the distance from the Earth to the Moon.
If it has all been moved closer to the origin [which worked for me], and it didn't fix the problem for you, post your version of the revised drawing.
@Kent1Cooper I posted the file I fixed, all the weirdness with grips not showing + TRIM works fine after the move in R2021.1 and R2020.1.2.
@Anonymous Try the file I posted, no issue there for me. BTW, have you considered using XREFs?
