Trim command crossing window not working
Will it not allow you to make a window to select multiple objects? If so check your PICKDRAG variable and try setting it to 2

If you have a newish version of AutoCAD perhaps try LTGAPSELECTION set to 1 ?
If your lines are not a continuous line type then this might be it. Just a stab in the dark.

Just type in that system variable name, if you have it then it will work. I don't have my computer on to look up when that was added.

ThE variable LTGAPSELECTION was added in the 2017 release.
