Transferring AutoCAD license within the company

Anonymous
Not applicable

So here I have scenario, where my manager wants to transfer over his AutoCAD 2011 to me (not sure if it's an LT or a full Design Suite) . But our IT helpdesk is totally bootless. Now I am personally looking around for ways to transfer it since I am more sound dealing with softwares.

I looked into TOL form, and I couldn't find an option for inter-company license transfer.

What are my options?

Your help is well appreciated.

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,

If everything is remaining the same you could just request a change in the contract manager.

I;m nit sure which version it came out with, but look in his Start menu for something called Portable License Utility.  That should let you export the license from his box, and then import to yours after you've installed the software.
