Tool Pallet import

i have a drawing (.dwg) created on an old pc with AutoCad 2005.  Can I open it with 2025 and import the old Tool layout pallet menu?

DWG files do not store Tool palette (TP) information to "import" from, but you can create a new TP in AutoCAD2025 from it's block content for sure using ADCENTER command for example, or manually drag-and-drop to a new TP as well. Give each a try.

thanks much. are you saying that there is a file created in the 2005
version with the extension '.tp' that may be imported to the 2025 version?
ie, I can open the drawing in 2025 version, then imported the old tool
template?? thanks again.
