Hello, I can not change the scale of a tile/image in the Texture Editor. I can scale it by clicking the "up" or "down" arrows, but entering a new value will not work. Using the arrows will take too long. I want to specify the dimensions by entering the values, like in all previous editions of AutoCad.
Is this a known problem and is there a solution or should I go back to using AutoCad 2017?
Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,
This is the first time I have heard of this. Is it happening with specific textures? (built-in or custom)
Can you take a screen capture or make a Screencast for me so I can try to duplicate on my computer?
Hi @Anonymous,
I don't see an attachment - are you sending from email? That usually doesn't work.
Yes, I sent it as an attachment. the jpeg will not load. It says "invalid filetype" I am trying to send a PNG now.
Hi @moneyc
Thanks for the catch on this! I am to duplicate this on my side too. I will report this to QA right away.
Hi john, I think there is a misunderstanding. What I mentioned in my previous message is that I finally succeeded in adding the screenshot to the post.
The problem with the texture editor still exists. I can not change the values of the sample tile. Please let me know if you require more information. Thanks!
Hi moneycue,
not sure if you managed to resolve this or not? but i have occasionally ran into the issue of not being able to type in the texture editor window. (my inputs just continue in the command line rather than in the texture editor window)
i can resolve this just by dragging and docking the texture editor window to the side (rather than having it as a floating window). it then lets me type the scale and offset. so random that it does this
Hi,
>> The problem with the texture editor still exists. I can not change the values of the sample tile
PLease find attached a video.
Is that the correct position of text field you can not edit?
As you see I can edit the scale factors, am I doing anything different?

Make sure your mouse position stays within the border of the field you want to edit.
When you clicked with the mouse into the field and then move the mouse outside the ribbon the focus for keyboard input changed to the main application windows (sometimes moving the mouse outside the field could make the focus change).

Hi Alfred,
thanks for coming back so quick,
i am staying within the data entry field when typing. as you can see the keyboard entry stays within the command line until i dock the window to the side. Ive replicated it in this vid attached
cheers,
Dan
Hi,
do you have more than one monitor? If so try the same again with just one display plugged in to your workstation.
Please start command _GRAPHICSCONFIG, create a screenshot from that dialog and upload the screenshot here.
And as usual: please make sure your AutoCAD is up-to-date, 2018 Update 1 is the current version information.

First just click left where TEXTURE EDITOR is written. After that you will be able to type values.
well, i should have checked that i was running the latest version first... done the update and everything is working fine now! thanks Alfred
Hi In my version of Autocad (2013) I cannot open this dialog where you can edit the image
Is there a trick where to open it?
Thanks
Hi @juan93UHD,
AutoCAD 2013 is 6 versions back and I only have 2016 as the oldest version installed on my computer. Can you provide some screen captures or even better a short video of what you see on your screen when trying to add and modify a material in the material browser?
