textedit woes

So I just upgraded to 2016 last week and noticed something different. When using the TEXTEDIT command it doesn't stay in the command after editing a line of text and moving on to the next. All previous versions stayed in the command to edit as many peices of text as you'd like. What gives? Can I change an option somewhere to bring this feature back? It's frustrating when editing schedules. TIA

The text editing command functionality changed starting in R2015: the old DDEDIT command died and went away after R2014.

Explore combining it with MULTIPLE command if you want it to repeat: explore MULTIPLE in AutoCAD's HELP, it's been around for a very long time.

That worked wonderfully! I've been using CAD since the mid 90's and never heard of the multiple command. Thanks!
