Text in .pdf appears upside down, rotated

Attached is a photo of the screen of an open .pdf on a Mac computer.  Some (not all) of the Mtext appears upside down or rotated, bigger, and missing a leader.

I made the drawing with ACAD LT 2016 and plotted it to a .pdf on a Windows operating system and then emailed it to a collegue.  When he opens the .pdf on his Mac, that is where the upside down text appears.  It does not show up on my end.

What is causing this and how can I correct it?

Thanks,

post the PDF you created, and the DWG that was used.

Did you remember to set the PDF driver to CAPTURE ALL FONTS? If not, you're letting other PCs (and MACs) do whatever the heck they want outside of your control.

And which fonts are you using?

Did you try installing this Hotfix? It sounds like it addresses your issue.
