Surface TO mesh

After converting "Surface(NURBS)" into "Mesh", too many faces are generated, and I want to get less faces. How to set it?

Select "Smooth Mesh Optimized" and adjust the face quantity with the "Maximum edge length for new faces" value. Greater values increase the resulting face quantity.
