The start screen in Autocad is drawn in the wrong spot. The options on the start screen cannot be clicked properly as they do not align with the offset image. I have attached a picture so you can see to what I am referring.

Hi,

>> The start screen in Autocad is drawn in the wrong spot. The options on the start screen cannot be clicked properly

I have seen that (if I'm understanding that correct without screenshot) when in Windows the text size is set to > 100% (like described here >>>click<<<) ... anything else than 100% makes some things in AutoCAD (and other applications) look strange or incorrect.

I have reattached the picture. I am currently running at 1080p The display scale was at default. I tried changing it to see if it made a difference but nothing. If it makes any difference I am running windows 8. Edit: Firefox wont allow me to attach the picture.

A few things to try if using IE please make sure you are not in "compatibility" mode as it is not supported.

Also make sure you are not blocking scripts from Lithium.com, Autodesk or Addthis.com they are need for all features to work.

also please make sure you are using the latest releases of the supported browsers below (with JavaScript enabled):

Chrome
Firefox
Internet Explorer 8*, 9, 10 or 11
Safari

For a consistent and reliable mobile device browsing experience, we recommend using one of the latest popular mobile operating systems and devices with their default browsers (with JavaScript enabled):

iOS with Safari
Android with Android browser
Opera Mini
Blackberry Browser

*Note: Internet Explorer 8 is no longer supported on the Community after 7/23/2015, IE 8 users may have a degraded experience. Users with IE 8 on Windows XP may not be able to connect at all to the community

Thanks

Hi,

thx for your screenshot, and it shows exactly what I discribed above: you have set your Windows textsize to 125% or 150% instead of 100%.

Set it back to 100% and all is well.

Correction for windows 8.

Windows 8 hides the text size one level deeper than windows 7.  Click on the checkbox circled in my first picture to find the menu in my second picture.

Thank you for your help Alfred.
