SSM issues after server upgrade

Many of my colleges are having issues accessing the SSM over the WAN after our recent server upgrade. Many users get the blue processing circle and then it will crash, sheets won't import into the SS and others can't create sheets via the SS at all. Issue occurs with 2011 and 2014. Any ideas?

Did they change your server name and forget to set pointers from old to new? Then AutoCAD can't find any of those old server location paths and you will need to manually reset then on each PC/AutoCAD session.

Blue circle is Windows "looking" for missing content.

Server has the same name.

Are there any known incompatibility issues with Windows 2012 Servers out there?

Message 5 of 8

Nope: server 2012 is very common.

Any similar issues with SS created in 2011 and then upgraded to 2014? Or known issues pathing the SS through a network, vs a local location?

Our SSM sheets are in our 2012 server, migrated from our older 2003 server last year. R2012-2015 here

Curious, do you set the SSM data file to a network location or just a local drive?
