Assuming an Associative Array object, are you aware that an Associative Array can have more than one of both columns and rows?  In other words, your image can be one Array with spacings between columns and rows within it, rather than dealing with spacing between Arrays.  Spacings are controlled by options in the Array command, and also controllable through the Properties box, if you didn't give it the spacing you want in the process of drawing it.

And they can be adjusted by grip-editing with those blue grip-arrows closest to the origin corner.

Or have I misunderstood what you're asking?

I have an array with 2 columns and 6 rows. I want to reduce the spacing between the rows and columns. However I don't know where to access the column and row spacing option like in your snapshot. This is what I am getting (please see attachment). I don't see an option to adjust spacing under properties.

Hi @Anonymous!

In addition to what @Kent1Cooper said, you can control the distances between rows and columns using the little blue arrows that you see when you select the object. Typically in a rectangular 2D array, if you have more than two rows or columns, you see two arrows in each direction. The arrow that is closest to the origin is for spacing between rows (or columns), and the arrow at the end is for the hole span of distribution.. So you can select the appropriate arrow and type the distance you want directly..

I haven't used AutoCAD for mac, but I think that if you detached the properties (Arrow 1 in the picture) palette and moved it away, you may be able to extend it from the bottom to see more details, also make sure you're selecting "All" properties, to follow @Kent1Cooper instructions..

Pick once on the array, now hover the cursor over the lower right arrow for columns (or upper left for rows), in the Windows version three options will appear, one will be column spacing, pick that and then move the cursor and then pick.

Screencast will be displayed here after you click Post.
