Geometric/Dimensional constraints and relationship with XREFs

Is there a way to create a constraint relationship with XREFs. For example, I have an object in a room and want to create a constraint that locks my dimensions to the wall so when I update my dimensional parameter d1 & d2 (attached) my objects will move away from the wall respectively.

the answer is NO ... as i understand your need is to link constraint dim with an items inside xref plan !! and this guide me to ask that how will select those items when constraint dim and xref are separately . the only way is to create constrain dim inside the xref itself to be able to select and link those lines with constraint dim .
