Silhouette Edges

My 3d objects keep plotting with very thick lines and my research shows I might be able to fix it by turning off the silhouette edges? But I can't find the setting anywhere, I've typed the command "VSSILHEDGES" and made it 0 but that didn't fix my problem

Using AutoCAD 2024

What visual style are you using?  If "2D Wireframe" you can control the visualstyle as follows.  Be sure to do a regen to toggle the effect.
