Setting up Source File for Cad Blocks in Tool Pallete?

I have imported all my  tool palletes with blocks on to a new computer but the source file is not correct so the tool shows the image but the blocks are not working. Is there a simple way to fix this source file for hundreds of blocks or do I need to fix one by one?

Hi,

there is feature to do this, but it is possible by a simple Texteditor (if you have one to edit multiple files in one step, it is just one step)

Read this: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/how-to-update-source-tool-palette-location/td-p/9682009

>If you need to update the pathes to your block library dwgs,

>edit your palette content files with an TEXT EDITOR.

>Copy the block source dwg files to the new folder,

>navigate into your toolpalette path, palettes folder,*

>use find&replace in your TextEditor

>to edit the pathes into your *.ATC files.

* If you don't know where your .atc files are:

1. Learn more about toolpalette next (not now)

2. Take a look into your OPTIONS/FILES/Searchpath for Toolpalettes

and jump to the Palettes Folder what is inside this folderpath
