The problem is when I place a dimension, it separates itself into text, lines, and solids. Normally when I select it would show as "dimension. Can you help me with this problem? The screenshot below shows what happens when I select the dimension.

Hi @200581073

Your DIMASSOC is 0.

0=no association between different dimension elements

Make DIMASSOC either 1 or 2.

1=creates non-associative dimension objects

2=creates associative dimension objects

Once it’s changed, perform dimension operation again.

  • If 1, the dim will not change if the if the object being measured is stretched or shortened.
  • If 2, the dim will react to changes in the object being measured. E
  • 1 or 2 will not explode your dim. The dim will be a single object.
