Script Pro Update on Windows 10

Hi, I am tryin to install an update version of ScriptPro on Windows 10 and get a notification " this operating system is not supported by ScriptPro". I have not made any changes to the system since I installed previous version of ScriptPro. How do I install an update? Thanks

Updated version? it does require to be run as full administrator in Windows10 for sure, you can also try running it in Compatibility Mode in Win10, seems to work for many users too.

A google "Scriptpro is not compatible with 64 bit Autoscript is"

Cadig - CNET Download

I have not tested.

Thanks for info. It worked find previously on the same system. I'll double check where exactly it was installed previously and look at Autoscript. Thanks.

@yuliya.kuzina There is no "latest version" unless you have a link that shows it newer than 2.0 and supports Win10, can you share this newer version?

In the meantime you appear to have opted not to try something different like this

OR... are you getting this type of error?

Hi @pendean , it seems like there are newer versions of Script Pro, unless it's a scam.

I had previously installed and working v2.0 (on Windows 10 pro). As it stopped functioning (every singe attempt to run a script fails), I looked up for newer versions and found v.3.0.2. (link below). The error I am getting when I try to install is attached here.

Thanks for the screen shots. I've tested and does show that it is incompatible.

ScriptPro is puplic with source code,

you won't find a new version as 2.03 from AutoDESK.

Your Link: This is a generic webpage, i don#t know how the robots working,

but what you see "version 1,2,3,4 " doesn't mean the ScriptPro version.

Version 3 and 4 (this page named the download link this way) are also the 2.03 version from 2009

Good old 2013 download from Autodesk is still valid, find it here...

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-customizati...

I needed it again after quite a few years and I just got it installed by following BlackBox's recommendations in this post from TheSwamp.org https://www.theswamp.org/index.php?topic=41808.0

I had to download it, move it to a folder I created for it on my C drive (C:\Autodesk\Scriptpro) and had to select a custom folder to install it to (C:\Autodesk\Scriptpro) because even using Admin rights it refused to install into the standard C:\Program Files (x86) folder where it defaults to. Once I installed it to my C:\Autodesk\Scriptpro folder it worked just fine.

Hope this helps šŸ˜‰

Nothing to do with this thread (msi detected the OS as not-supported OS).

I like to comment your "Admin" problem: Your way is a good workaround

but for others 'as admin' works too.

My Win-User is not the real Admin, just the local one (i am not sure if that is the right therm, sorry)

and it is enough to install it in program files (86x)

Search for CMD, rightclick on - > 'run as Admin'

msiexec /i "D:\yourpath\scriptpro 2.0.msi"

Works for me (win 10 Pro / Version 1909 Build 18363.1556)

@yuliya.kuzina

What is your OS version?

[WIN]+[R]

open: WINVER

Hi, thanks. I have successfully installed autoscript, but still it would be great to figure out the issue with script pro .

It's V 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1526)

You / we need a .net(?) Programmer who can check and edit the code (if it is enough to edit the OS-Check function)

Kannst du mal nachsehen - Ich versuche es erst gar nicht šŸ˜‰ - und etwas dazu beitragen?
