Save path not consistent

While creating a PDF and saving in a particular folder destination and then again creating another PDF doesn't takes me to the same folder location, by default it goes to my documents, which consumes time.
I tried setting the system variable REMEMBER FOLDER to 1 but again the same issue.

REMEMBERFOLDERS is set to 0 here and I don't seem to have that issue: what is your AutoCAD version, which PDF driver are you using, what is your WIndows version and where are you saving your PDF files to?
