I tried all the commands in the title but with no success. I'm trying to create a solid out of these lines. Basically the end result should look more or less like 1/4 off an egg.
I have a vertical polyline that i need to "revolve" around it's self but the outside (the arch) should follow the ellipse on the floor.

Post your .dwg here and I will show you a video how to do what you want.
(sweep or loft and surfpatch and surfsculpt will do the job).

Did you get the dwg file? I uploaded it but it looks like it got deleted I don't know why.
as you can see in below image , the problem is that you have an ellipse with two different radius direction that your shape will follow ( dashed green and magenta ). if you have a circle path it will be done successfully because you're using one radius direction. i think that it can be done by doing more than command procedure .

I'm not sure which result you expect. Here (attached) one model.

I'm using a 2015 version so I can't open the file. Do you mind saving it for an older version and uploading it again?
Also i'm on a Mac so Trueview doesn't work. Thank you
I tried it before with a circle path and it works but that's not what I want. The problem i'm having is because i'm trying to use an ellipse, that's why I don't know how to do it.

That's what I wanted. Do you mind explaining briefly how you did the top part? so I know for the next time.
Thank you very much really
>> i'm afraid not !!! <<
Here still some examples, trying to use a constant radius (15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 19.9999) along the elliptical edge.
It is geometrical impossible to get ONE radius along the elliptical edge.
[EDIT]: ok, in the meantime I see that the suggestion above was accepted. THX
